Rules and Regulations

Thank you for wanting to be involved in The Big Learner Relay and to be part of the fundraising for Children in Need.  Every penny counts so however small your donation please know that we are very grateful and that your contribution will go towards making our total something to be proud of.
There are, inevitably, some rules and regulations that you need to be aware of to keep safe and legal.  On this page we have shared with you some information and links that may help.

Using Pudsey
For the second year we have been given permission to use the official copy written Pudsey logo within the car sticker spot packs. Please note that this is the only permitted use of Pudsey unless using other official merchandise purchased from places like Asda, B&Q or from the official BBC shop.
Please DO NOT recreate the Pudsey image in any other way as doing so will be an infringement of copyright.
If you would like to hire a Pudsey outfit for free then please contact your local BBC branch.

Collecting money
Bucket shaking is not encouraged by Children on Need and for regulation and safety issues it will not be possible for us to collect and carry cash during The Big Learner Relay. For ease, we have provided a JustGiving link and text number for donations to go straight to Children in Need.  If you have any money collecting ideas please follow the regulations suggested.

Traffic Convoy The Big Learner Relay complies with The Public Order Act of 1986 so all you need to do is join in, be safe and have fun!
If you are planning a convoy event that links in with this fundraising in any way then please get in touch.  We will be happy to make sure you, too, are legal and that the correct notice of your event has been given to the appropriate authorities. Check out this document on Convoy Etiquette.
